WASHINGTON, Aug 11 (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama and his top advisers are looking closely at the global economic picture and are weighing ways to ensure that the U.S. recovery remains on track, the White House said on Wednesday.
White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said Obama met earlier with senior economic adviser Larry Summers and 'talked through some scenarios with Dr. Summers on what we were seeing worldwide.'
