NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 05/22/12 -- Rick Newman and Peter Martin, producers of the Drama Desk award-winning Off Broadway smash "Celebrity Autobiography," will produce a staged reading of "LOST IN LOVE," a new musical based on the hits of Air Supply (www.airsupplymusic.com), to benefit The Actors Fund. Robyn C. Lee (Stella Adler/ TheatreLab) will direct the musical written by Melissa Bell.
Air Supply, the hit-making duo of Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell, met performing in a two-year Aussie tour of "Jesus Christ Superstar."
The cast includes Tony-nominated actor Constantine Maroulis ("Rock of Ages") and Andrea McArdle, Broadway's original "ANNIE"; Graham Russell of Air Supply will be performing on guitar and Russell Hitchcock will be in attendance.
Rounding out the cast are Kristin Piacentile, Lynn Craig, Paul Jackel, Beau Allen, Wren Harrington, and William Blake. Ensemble singers are Jamie Epstein, Daphne Thompson and Wade Walton.
The show features all the romance expected by Air Supply fans, along with some of their biggest hits: "All Out of Love," "Sweet Dreams," "Making Love Out of Nothing at All," all newly arranged by musical director Jonathan Ivey "Jivie" and Josh Freilich.
Set in the 1900s, the show has a "Downton Abbey" feel, and a man and a woman must decide to follow tradition or live for love.
