PITTSBURGH (AP) - Drug developer Mylan Inc. said Tuesday it will start selling generic versions of the antidepressant Paxil as part of a settlement with GlaxoSmithKline.
The lawsuit between the companies will be dismissed, Mylan said. Mylan has patent licenses and the right to sell all three available strengths of the drug. It was the first company to file for approval to make a generic version of Paxil and is eligible for 180 days of market exclusivity.
