Sept 21 (Reuters) - The Securities and Exchange Commission said on Monday:
* Says Bank of America settlement was reasonable, appropriate and in public interest
* Says considers legal options after federal judge rejected Bank of America
settlement
* Says will vigorously pursue charges against Bank of America and take steps
to prove our case in court
* Says will use 'additional discovery available in the litigation' to determine
whether to seek the court's permission to bring additional charges in this
case
