SYDNEY, Nov 5 (Reuters) - Iron ore shipments from Australia's Port Hedland rose 2 percent to 14.7 million tonnes between September abd October, port figures showed on Thursday.
In September, the port shipped 14.4 million tonnes.
Port Hedland handles BHP Billiton Ltd's and Fortescue Metals Group's production from Western Australia's Pilbara iron ore producing region and is one of the country's two main iron ore export ports.
