The Board of Directors of Source Capital, Inc. (NYSE:SOR), today declared a regular quarterly distribution of 50 cents a common share, payable Dec. 15, 2009, to shareholders of record as of the close of business Nov. 20, 2009.

Directors also declared a regular quarterly income dividend of 60 cents a preferred share, payable Dec. 15, 2009, to shareholders of record as of the close of business Nov. 20, 2009.
