Company Adds 37,000 Square Miles of Coverage for Delivery of Digital Oilfield Solutions
ERF Wireless (OTCBB:ERFW), a leading provider of enterprise-class wireless and broadband products and services, announced today that the company has entered into a Master Services Agreement with Southwestern Wireless based in Roswell, N.M., for the provisioning and delivery of wholesale Internet and bandwidth services that will allow ERF Wireless to provide its digital oilfield solutions to major oil and gas companies active in New Mexico and West Texas.
According to Dr. H. Dean Cubley, CEO of ERF Wireless, "This agreement marks the fourth in a series of agreements with wireless network providers and adds more than 37,000 square miles to the company's existing coverage in West Texas and New Mexico for meeting the requirements of our oil and gas customers. The combination of Southwestern Wireless' extensive New Mexico coverage with ERF Wireless' substantial West Texas coverage gives us the most comprehensive wireless broadband network in this region."
Southwestern Wireless, a privately held company, operates a wireless broadband network that currently serves 49 communities in New Mexico and 13 communities in Texas from 58 service delivery locations in New Mexico and 16 service delivery locations in West Texas.
