JAL says to keep alliance with American Airlines

TOKYO, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Japan Airlines Corp said it would stick to its partnership with American Airlines in the Oneworld alliance, putting an end to deliberations over whether to join hands with rival suitor Delta Air Lines.

JAL, which filed for bankruptcy last month, said in a statement that it planned to apply for anti-trust immunity with American for closer cooperation on international routes under the 'open skies' treaty between the United States and Japan.
