WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - ModusLink Global Solutions Inc. (MLNK) announced that it sent a letter to stockholders in connection with the Company's Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Stockholders of record at the close of business on December 1, 2011 will be entitled to vote at the January 20, 2012 Annual Meeting.

ModusLink's Board of Directors recommended that stockholders vote 'FOR' the Company's two nominees for director: Thomas Johnson and Jeffrey Fenton - on the WHITE proxy card.
