Leading sexual addiction treatment facility will offer an eight-week program to facilitate healing and recovery for individuals struggling with sexual addiction and intimacy issues
As more and more business professionals seek help for problem sexual behaviors, the premier national outpatient sexual addiction treatment facility, Los Angeles-based Sexual Recovery Institute (SRI), has announced the launch of its Eight-Week Evening Intensive Program. The program combines the benefits of its Two-Week Program, with the convenience of an evening and weekend therapy schedule. Clients will meet three times weekly for eight weeks.
The treatment goals are to eliminate problem acting out behaviors, provide skills and resources toward long-term sexual recovery, reduce shame, encourage insight into problem sexual behavior patterns, and to encourage healthy intimacy and relationship healing. Services include: psycho-sexual assessment, relapse prevention, group therapy, individual sessions, and optional partner support and involvement.
The program will utilize the following:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- 12-Step philosophy
- Focused sex and relationship addiction education
- Meditation and grounding techniques
- Group support for clients and spouses
- Master's level clinical staff who are all specialists in relationship and sexual addiction treatment
"This program was created in direct response to an increased number of callers looking for intensive treatment that does not interfere with daytime jobs and other responsibilities," remarked Sarah Chapin, SRI Executive Director. "We are excited to launch this program as we feel it will help us bring hope and treatment to people who are suffering from sexual and intimacy disorders, but who are not able to leave their daytime commitments in order to attend a Two-Week Intensive."
The Evening Intensive Program will be offered at SRI (914 South Robertson, Suite 200, Los Angeles, California) on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. (love and sex addict clients only) and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (partner attendance encouraged).
