The board of PI Photovoltaik Institute Berlin AG looks forward to welcoming you at the 2nd PV Investors Day in Berlin. After a successful come-together in 2011 we would like to take this opportunity to discuss the situation of the industry and to show how to identify and solve quality problems.
PV electricity prices are now lower than household electricity tariffs. On one hand, profit margins are tightened, but on the other hand we can see enormous new markets in the world - beyond the Feed-in-Tariff-Legislation.
Our quality packages are tailored to the specific requirements of factory inspections including production monitoring and expert advice. We shall show how PI's quality packages secure lifetime, performance and yield of PV power plants - globally. An insightful laboratory visit including live tests we will demonstrate them.
We are looking forward to welcoming Mr. Dirk Kühnel - engineer in the center of excellence for renewable energies of the DKB (German Credit Bank) as an invited keynote speaker at our Investor's Day.
Mr. Kühnel will explain the general principles for the financing of solar power projects in Germany as well as the specific rules of Deutsche Kreditbank AG (DKB).
We are also pleased to to present Mr. Andreas Riem - Quality Manager and Head of Corporate Security Division of Bosch Solar Energy AG - as our second keynote speaker. Mr. Riem will show a presentation about Bosch's legendary production quality and the measures to achieve it.
