Interserve Plc                                 

In accordance with Rule 9.6.14 of the UK Listing Rules, Interserve Plc (the "Company") gives notice that Lord Blackwell, Chairman of the Company, has been appointed as a non-executive director of Lloyds Banking Group plc with effect from 1 June 2012. He will also assume the Chairmanship of the Scottish Widows Group of companies on 1 September 2012.

Lord Blackwell has also confirmed that he retired from the Board of Standard Life plc at the conclusion of Standard Life's Annual General Meeting on 25 May 2012.
