The SKF Group has received the Sustainable Supplier Award from Bombardier Transportation for integrating CSR in business principles and in management standards.

He further stated, "The excellence of integrating Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the business principles has been successfully achieved by SKF."

The Bombardier Transportation Sustainable Suppliers Awards are based on a selection criteria that covers quality systems (IRIS); environment, health and safety systems (ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001); labour conditions and business ethics (SA 8000); as well as general CSR commitment (GRI level B reporting) including philanthropic engagement.
