Telecommunications service provider Optic Communications
has begun operations at its newly established call center in Manila.
Optic Communications will initiate operations at the Manila call
center with 120 sales and marketing agents. The Manila call center
became necessary for the company as it continues to expand its
international customer base to include telecommunications end users in
the United States, Australia, Ireland, Canada and the United Kingdom.
Operations at the Manila call center officially began on Feb. 25, 2005, and supplement the company's well-established call center in Cairo, Egypt, operational since November 2003. "The Manila call center is state-of-the-art and provides the company an excellent opportunity to increase its productivity. It's also evidence of our continued commitment to growth and expansion into international telecommunications markets," explained Adam Bonaldi, Optic Communications' sales and marketing director.
