Sale Allows TMP to Focus Exclusively on Yellow Pages Clients and
Consumer Local Search
TMP Directional Marketing, LLC ("TMP"), the world's largest Yellow Pages advertising agency, formerly TMP Worldwide Directional Marketing, announced today that it has been acquired by Audax Group, a leading private equity firm, from Monster Worldwide, Inc. The acquisition, which closed today, includes the purchase of four Monster Worldwide units: TMP Yellow Pages, Moving.com, TMP Worldwide Japan and TMP Medical Listings. The units will operate as a private, wholly-owned, stand-alone entity. Stuart McKelvey, Chief Executive Officer of TMP, will continue to lead the new organization with the support of the existing executive team.
Commenting on the transaction, Stuart McKelvey, CEO of TMP said, "This transaction will allow our company to focus exclusively on serving our Yellow Pages clients.
