CARACAS (AFX) - Venezuela's state-owned oil company PDVSA is to pay 2 bln usd to buy 40 oil tankers from Brazil to renew its fleet, according to Caracas daily El Nacional, citing a government official.
Brazil will supply Panamax tankers with a capacity of 350,000-500,000 barrels of oil, Aframax tankers (500,000-800,000 barrels), Suexmax (900,000-1.2 mln barrels, and VLCCs, the paper said.
