LONDON (AFX) -- Delphi is preparing to make a bankruptcy filing as early as this week, but may not carry it out depending on the concessions it can win from General Motors , its former parent, and the United Automobile Workers union, the New York Times reported Wednesday. CEO Robert S. Miller has said publicly that he will file for bankruptcy by Oct. 17 at the latest, when bankruptcy laws change, the report noted.
