BRUSSELS (AFX) - The EU's highest court has ruled that DaimlerChrysler AG's registration of the 'Picaro' trademark is valid and has dismissed the appeal of the Picasso family who opposed the use of the name by the DaimlerChrysler for motor vehicles.
The Picasso family had claimed that there was too great a likelihood of confusion between their trade mark 'Picasso', licensed to Citroen for the MPV, and 'Picaro' for the latter to be registered. afxbrussels@afxnews.com lh/lh/cw
