as its new Vice President of Operations. Kevin has oversight for all
day-to-day activities in the supply chain from materials planning and
international sourcing to manufacturing, logistics and fleet
management, along with information technology.
Kevin said, "I have a passion for Lean Enterprise, Six Sigma, and operational excellence and will focus my efforts on creating the organizational backbone for Master Halco to excel as a world class manufacturing and distribution company."
Mr. Price has a BS in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic University at Pomona and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of LaVerne. Prior to founding his own company, Brain Ovations, Inc., a Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma software and consulting firm, Kevin held a number of management positions in technology and manufacturing organizations, including Kinetics, Inc., ITT, and Teledyne.

Recently joining Kevin's corporate management team is new Manager of Materials, Art Herbon, and current managers, Joe Bockrath, Director of Manufacturing, John Daniel, Director of Information Technology, Terry Slattery, Project Management, and Andrea Harrington, Manager of Fleet and Facilities.
Coming on board as General Managers of Region 1 (West/NW US/Western Canada) and Region 2 (South Central/SW US), respectively, are Gary Caster and John Naus. They are both responsible for the overall business performance in their regions, which includes oversight of approximately 12 sales distribution branches, a regional distribution center, and inside and outside sales consultant functions.
Gary Caster has a BA in Marketing from Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Southern California. He's spent a majority of his career in construction-related sales and marketing leadership roles, including Hilti, Inc., Oregon Pacific Building Products, and Georgia Pacific Corporation.
John Naus' management career spans both the construction and medical testing industries where his sales and marketing roles over the past 20 years fashioned his executive sales leadership for companies like Ameritox, Pharmchem, Laboratory Corporation of America and Hilti, Inc. John has a BA in Political Science from Indiana University.
Bill Shirley, CFP, long-time employee at Master Halco, recently shifted roles to head Key Accounts. He is responsible for building and managing long-term relationships with large customers operating across multiple branches and regional boundaries. Bill was also recently honored with the AFA (American Fence Association) distinguished service award given to the individual who has made the greatest contribution to the industry as a whole.
Master Halco's National Accounts has new leadership in Stephen St. Gelais, General Manager for the company's retail sales channel. Stephen is responsible for product sales and profitability through large home centers and a variety of independent retail chains. Stephen has a BA in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire and comes to Master Halco with 24 years of retail sales experience. Reporting to Mr. St. Gelais are recent additions Robert Luciano, National Account Manager for Home Depot and Lowe's, and David Levonick, National Account Manager for independent channel accounts, including Menards and home improvement retail in Canada. Both Bob and Dave hold successful track records in retail sales management.
Supporting Master Halco's national contact center is new Manager, Linda D'Amato. She handles all call center operations, including inbound customer service and sales, outbound sales and literature distribution, and the performance and training of customer service associates. Linda comes to Master Halco with over 23 years of experience in contact center management and will spearhead the upgrade of Master Halco's contact center technology.
Doug Vanderkolk was recently promoted to Sales Manager of Security Solutions Group (SSG), Master Halco's sales channel offering perimeter security design and consulting services and a total systems solution to commercial, industrial and government asset owners. He is responsible for North American sales and account management. Doug recently brought on Eric Berglund as Region II Specified Sales Engineer. Both bring strong technical sales backgrounds to the company.
Rounding out new team members are Chain Link and Wood Product Managers Karl Marsh and John Sauer, respectively, both proven leaders with over 20 years experience in marketing and sales distribution environments, and Specification Manager Bob Evans, whose 20+ year career brings a unique mix of engineering and marketing background to the company.
