BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - China's electronics and information technology (IT) sector earned combined revenue of 3.00 trln yuan from January to September, up 24.1 pct from a year earlier, the Ministry of Information Industry (MII) said.
The profit of the electronics, IT sector stood at 93.0 bln yuan in the first nine months, up 30.7 pct year-on-year.
The telecommunications equipment manufacturing sector earned profit of 23.8 bln yuan in this period, contributing 25 pct of the whole electronics, IT sector profit.
The electronic components sector grew fastest, with profit of 7.6 bln yuan, up 58.5 pct year-on-year.
In the broadcast and TV equipment manufacturing sector, profit dropped 2.9 pct to 536 mln yuan.
