PARIS (AFX) - Electricite de France (EDF) has signed a long-term supply agreement with the Exeltium consortium of large industrial customers, following a call for tenders launched by Exeltium in May last year.
Details of the were agreement not disclosed. The daily Les Echos said yesterday that the deal would involve a below-market price.
The first delivery of electricity under the deal is expected during the second quarter, following the submission of the agreement to the EU competition authorities and the conclusion of the final contract between EDF and Exeltium, expected in the next few weeks.
