GEORGE, Utah, May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- SkyWest Airlines, a subsidiary of SkyWest, Inc. and the nation's largest independently owned regional airline, is hosting a career fair Tuesday, May 8 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the DoubleTree Hotel, 3203 Quebec Street. Celebrating 35 years this summer, SkyWest has recently announced expansions in various locations throughout the United States, and just kicked off operations at the new United Express Jet Facility in Concourse B on Tuesday, April 24.

While Tuesday's event will include interviews for positions ranging from customer service and ramp agents, SkyWest Airlines director of recruitment and people programs, Suzanne Stephensen explained, "there's also a real need for flight attendants, pilots, and maintenance personnel as our relationships with our mainline partners [United Airlines, Delta Air Lines and Midwest Airlines] expand. There are opportunities with SkyWest across the country, but we've chosen Denver for this particular event because we've identified it as a market of focus for SkyWest."
Department recruiters will be on hand for interviews, however Tuesday's event is also about raising community awareness.
