COPENHAGEN (AFX) - Vestas Wind Systems AS said it has won an order for the delivery of 21 units of its V90-3.0 MegaWatt wind turbine for the second phase of the Solano wind project in Rio Vista, California, US.
The order was placed by Sacramento Municipal Utility District in California, the sixth largest municipal utility in the US.
Shipment of the first turbines will begin in the fourth quarter of 2007, with the commissioning date set for the second quarter of 2008.
