FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - Siemens AG and its former anti-corruption manager Albrecht Schaefer yesterday failed to come to a compromise settlement at Munich's labour court, Financial Times Deutschland reported, citing both sides' lawyers.
Schaefer was dismissed in August on charges that he did not inform Siemens' management board about corruption at the company in an appropriate manner.
Schaefer's attorney denied the claim.
The next court hearing will be on Jan 9, 2008. frederik.richter@thomson.com fr1/mas/ajb COPYRIGHT Copyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007. All rights reserved.
