NEW YORK (AP) - Drug maker Pfizer Inc. on Thursday said Suzanne Nora Johnson and James M. Kilts have been elected to the board of directors, effective Sept. 27.
Johnson, 50, retired as vice chairman of the Goldman Sachs Group Inc. in January after 21 years with the firm. She held roles ranging from head of the health care investment banking to the head of global research.
Johnson also serves as the director of financial software company Intuit Inc. and credit card network Visa Inc.
Kilts, 59, has served at global consumer product companies Procter & Gamble, Gillette Co. and Nabisco Group. He is the current founding partner of Centerview Partners, a private equity and financial advisory firm.
The addition of Johnson and Kilts raises the number of board members to 14.
Shares of Pfizer added 11 cents to $24.69 in afternoon trading.
