BUDAPEST (Thomson Financial) - Audi AG said engine production at its Hungarian plant expanded by 1.8 pct to 1.5 mln in the first nine months of the year.
The German car maker said the plant produced 46,239 Audi TT vehicles over the period, compared to 13,313 during the same period last year.
The company added it will start production of the Audi A3 Cabriolet at the plant in the fourth quarter.
