FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - Microsoft Corp is planning to expand its business with web-based software over coming months, Handelsblatt reported.
'Above all, this will take place in the corporate clients business,' the president of Microsoft's business division, Jeff Raikes, told the newspaper.
Software as a service (saas) is a model where software is hosted and operated over the Internet.
