SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - McNeil Consumer Healthcare, a division of Johnson & Johnson's McNeil-PPC unit, said Friday the Food and Drug Administration approved Zyrtec for adults and children without a prescription.
Zyrtec is an antihistimine used to treat allergic rhinitis.
Johnson & Johnson is based in New Brunswick, N.J.
