LEIPZIG, Germany (Thomson Financial) - Vivendi SA's Canal Plus is acquiring 100 pct of German film company Kinowelt Group for an undisclosed sum, Kinowelt said in a statement.
A respective contract was signed yesterday, the company added.
The deal is pending approval of the regulatory authorities.
