Global Research Services, LLC (GRS) announced today that the company has completed the development and implementation of a new service platform for Phase I data management known as "Private Label Reserve. The service allows clinical sites that do not currently have data management services to provide site-specific branded Oracle Clinical remote data capture and management. Through GRS's Oracle-based systems, Phase I centers now have the opportunity to access the benefits of a top performance data management application previously out of reach due to heavy fiscal investment in IT infrastructure, personnel and support services.
The subscription-based service allows for access to a comprehensive library of Case Report Forms, access to trained data management staff, customized and standard data collection screens, remote data capture training, full data management and analysis performed under the name of the Phase I unit. Dr. Bruce Garrett, President and CEO, GRS said, "We believe that the Private Label Reserve service model is being well accepted in the Phase I arena. Market studies indicate that Phase I units that are not able to provide data management services often miss the opportunity to bid on projects that require in-house data analysisand that such services are highly profitable.
According to Dr. Charles Ballow, Director, Buffalo Clinical Research Center "In the past, we would lose opportunities because we couldn't offer data management services. Now when a sponsor asks, we can offer it to them. [GRS's] data management approach has been excellent - the handling of queries, the quality of data entry and feedback from the sponsor has been excellent.
Commenting on GRS's industry experience, Dr. Bruce Garrett added, "For the past ten years, our Biometrics Division in Shanghai, China has been providing exceedingly high quality data management services using Oracle Clinical. We have the experience, the industry gold-standard in data management systems and reputation for secure, rapid and superior service.
