Koblenz (Germany) - October 15, 2008: CompuGROUP Holding AG, a leading European
eHealth company, reports the expansion of the group's management board: The
supervisory board has appointed Professor Dr. med. Stefan F. Winter a board
member of CompuGROUP, effective from October 16, 2008. The forty-eight year old
Stefan F. Winter will be specifically responsible for product management,
product development and research with a focus on medical decision support
systems.

Until the middle of August 2008, Professor Dr. med. Stefan Winter has worked as
State Secretary of the Ministry for Labor, Health and Social Affairs of the
federal state North Rhine-Westphalia. Between 1992 and 2005, the physician and
molecular biologist has held various managerial positions at the Federal
Ministry of Health. Among others, he also managed the "Prevention, Disease
Control and Biomedicine" department.

Similarly, Professor Winter possesses comprehensive experience in international
healthcare politics and has numerous scientific contacts abroad. From 1992
until 2004, he was a member of the European Steering Committee for Biomedical
Ethics at the Council of Europe. In addition he has worked as an advisor of the
World Health Organization (WHO) since 2000.

"We are very pleased that with Professor Winter we were able to win a well-
renowned and internationally highly respected manager for such an important,
growing field as medical expert systems. With his expertise and his
international reputation, he will contribute enormously to the continuing
CompuGROUP success story," emphasizes Frank Gotthardt, Chairman of the Board of
CompuGROUP Holding AG.

"It is an extremely attractive and exciting challenge for me to support the
expansion of CompuGROUP's medical decision support systems field as well as
product management, product development and research of this internationally
operating, well-positioned eHealth company. Like no other healthcare company,
CompuGROUP stands for innovations which are as well sustainable and beneficial
to all those working in healthcare as for patients," underlines Professor
