MUMBAI, Jan 3 (Reuters) - Ambuja Cements Ltd, India's third-largest cement maker, said on Saturday its shipments in December 2008 rose 11.8 percent to 16.62 million tonnes from 14.86 million a year earlier.
Swiss cement maker Holcim owns about 46 percent of Ambuja Cements.
