JAKARTA, Jan 7 (Reuters) - Indonesia's finance ministry plans to issue yen-denominated bonds, possibly in the middle of 2009, a senior finance ministry official said on Wednesday.
'We may issue it in the middle of this year,' Rahmat Waluyanto, treasury director general at the finance ministry said when asked when the yen-denominated bonds would be issued.
Earlier in the day, the ministry said it would issue a 3-year retail sukuk in February.
