Flame Seal’s new full scale production systems are now complete, and have begun manufacturing the Company’s first large volume batches of its Leather Fire Retardant. The first run of the Thermal Barrier product is set for next week. This, just in time as this year’s Polyurethane Foam Insulation season begins in earnest. Due to the tremendous response to Flame Seal’s Thermal Barrier product at the January SPFA Trade Show, preparations have been completed that position the Company to meet the needs of all clients in the Foam Insulation Market. Some of these are:
Flame Seal is proud to announce the recent hiring of Charles Hargrave as its Supply Chain Manager (materials acquisition, purchasing, freight management, etc.). Charles comes from Motorola, moving from Phoenix, Arizona to Houston, Texas to join the TEAM. Additionally, the Company has hired another production line manager who is in training.
Flame Seal’s President has been asked to, and shall join the SPFA and ICC organizations in order to take part in the decision processes regarding codes and guidelines that affect the Polyurethane Foam Industry and the Fire Protection Industry.
It has been confirmed that Flame Seal’s Thermal Barrier product will soon receive ICC Certification, which is the highest level of recognition and acceptance in the world. No Company has accomplished this until now. These certifications have been applied for by foam manufacturers, which in essence “specify” Flame Seal’s coating as a “required” component of their foam.
From the President:
“I am pleased to be able to say that our new production facility is coming together at the exact point in time when it is going to be required! We can produce over $10Million / yr. with just this one tank system, on single shifts. Our in-house management team is complete, with this final addition. Our Executive Team is essentially complete and working well together. The next member of our team to be brought aboard, and formally announced, from the “mystery” Advisory Committee (past release 12-31-07), will be revealed very soon, even though he is currently active meeting many key clients and working with Craig Keyser already. His profile is such that the politics have taken over a year to work through. I would say that his announcement should excite even the most conservative investors!
“About ICC Certifications. The value of this to our Company cannot be overstated. An ICC Certification gives us International, Universal acceptance the moment it is issued! The Holy Grail of Certifications, for the Holy Grail of Coatings, as it were. We already have Warnock-Hersey and Intertek Certifications, and we can do a great business with those, but the biggest manufacturers have stated that, if we get ICC Certification, they will seek ICC Certifications with our coating on their foam as well, which specsor “marries” them together, since it makes our coating a required component of their foam! Thus, we decided many months ago to make ICC Certification our primary goal above all else. It is risky because it can take years, and many don’t make it, but, we now know we have already succeeded at this, the top level of recognition in our industry. And, as a result, this new growing market is ours to lose… and I have no intention of losing. We’ve worked too hard for too long to get here!
“We have requested projections from our primary clients in this market, in order to plan the year ahead. More on that as we receive data, and, next press I will address more PUF/ ICC developments, and our long term project… paint!”
