NEW DELHI, June 30 (Reuters) - India's fiscal deficit in April-May was at 907.58 billion rupees ($18.9 billion), or 27.3 percent of the full-year target, the government said in a statement on Tuesday.
Tax receipts were at 261.52 billion rupees while expenditure were 1.23 trillion rupees for the first two months of 2009/10 fiscal year.
In February, India's federal government forecast fiscal deficit at 3.33 trillion rupees or 5.5 percent of gross domestic product for 2009/10.
