MUMBAI, July 1 (Reuters) - Ambuja Cements Ltd, India's No. 3 cement maker, on Wednesday reported June shipments rose 8.2 percent to 1.59 million tonnes from a year earlier.
The company, in which Swiss cement maker Holcim holds about 46 percent, said production climbed to 1.6 million tonnes from 1.48 million tonnes.
