Best Buy No. 19 Dodge to Highlight Best Buy’s New Insignia Advanced Series Product Line at Rock & Roll 400
Elliott Sadler, driver of the No.19 Best Buy Dodge in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will be “seeing green” and looking for the checkered flag on Sat., Sept. 12 at the Rock & Roll 400 at Richmond International Raceway. At the race, Sadler will trade his car’s traditional Best Buy blue and yellow exterior for an exclusive lime-colored paint job in honor of the new Insignia Advanced Series line of products, which is one of Best Buy’s premier private label brands.
“The Insignia green paint job is pretty wild,” Sadler said. “The paint scheme will really stand out under the lights at Richmond. I’m really excited to race the No. 19 green Insignia Dodge at my home track.”
The car’s custom design is in honor of five new Insignia “Advanced Series” HD Flat-Panel LCD televisions that - like the No. 19 car - bring together leading edge technology to construct a top-performing machine. Two new models will be available in stores starting in October..
The Advanced Series HDTVs feature 1080p 120hz SupraHD by Zoran, LCD technology by AUO and Dynamic Volume by Audyssey, along with an unmatched two-year warranty. Zoran, Audyssey and AUO will also be featured in secondary positions on the No. 19 car at Richmond.
Other products in the Insignia Advanced Series line include a Connected GPS unit with Google local Search and a Blu-ray player, which features internet connectivity technology by Broadcom.
“Much like the teamwork between Elliott and the No. 19 car pit crew, Insignia’s new Advanced Series line is a collaboration between top technology manufacturers to create and fine tune the Advanced Series products to perform at the highest level,” said Paul Zindrick, Best Buy Racing. “Real NASCAR fans know it takes 10 people working together to win a race, a truism paralleled in the development of our new Advanced Series products.”
The exclusive Insignia car design is making its second appearance of the 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup season on Sadler’s Dodge Challenger; Insignia made its Sprint Cup debut on July 11 at the Lifelock.com 400 at Chicagoland, and will appear once more on Nov. 15 at Phoenix International Raceway.
