WGSN, the world’s leading style and trend analysis service, and Fashion Group International will partner to deliver unique insight and essential information to the fashion industry. The two organizations join together to host a not-to-be-missed panel discussion- “Trends in the Creative Process: A WGSN and FGI Trend Discussion Presented by Parsons”- on Wednesday, September 16 at 4pm at Parsons the New School for Design (560 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY).
WGSN Retail and Events Editor, Claire Hamilton, will sit down with 6 fashion experts to discuss the role of fashion trends within the creative process, the marketplace and the customer’s mind. Panelists include Helen Ficalora, owner and designer of Helen Ficalora; Jeff Madalena and Louis Terline, co-owners and designers of Oak; Nicole Fischelis, Group Vice President, Fashion Director of Macy’s; Shana Tabor, owner and designer of In God We Trust; and Steven Faerm, Director, BFA Fashion Design at Parsons. At the end of this in-depth look at the influence of trends the audience will get a chance to pose questions to the knowledgeable group of panelists.
