WASHINGTON, Sept 13 (Reuters) - United Technologies Corp on Sunday said the incident that damaged an F-35 engine during qualification testing should not affect the schedule of flight tests planned for the new Lockheed Martin Corp fighter jet.
'We don't anticipate there to be any impact on the flight test program,' said Erin Dick, spokesman for Pratt & Whitney, the United Technologies Corp unit building the engine.
