COLUMBUS, Ohio, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Glimcher Realty Trust announced today that it has completed a public offering of 30,666,667 common shares at a price of $3.75 per share, including 4,000,000 common shares issued and sold upon the full exercise of the underwriters'' option to purchase additional shares. Goldman, Sachs & Co. acted as sole bookrunning manager of the offering and KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc. acted as joint-lead manager of the offering.
The net proceeds to the Company from the offering, after deducting underwriting commissions and discounts and estimated offering expenses, were approximately $109 million. The Company will use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, which may include, among other things, reducing the outstanding principal amount under its credit facility.
