PlayFirst Recruits Veteran Industry Executive to Expand Company’s Strategic Vision
PlayFirst, Inc., the award-winning entertainment company, today announced that Frances Dillard, a consumer business and marketing industry veteran, has been named the company’s new Vice President of Marketing. With this hire, PlayFirst expands its ranks to continue its rapid growth as a leading interactive games company responsible for critically acclaimed franchises, delivering content across multiple platforms, including PC, iPhone, next-generation consoles and portable devices.
Ms. Dillard has spent more than 20 years creating consumer brand experiences and driving profitable growth through technology-based innovation. She is most recently from Disney Consumer Products where her focus was leading global strategy and business development on key brands for infants and parents. Previously, Ms. Dillard was a Vice President with LeapFrog serving as a General Manager and global business lead for a portfolio of technology-based educational products and web-connected platforms. She also held positions at Mattel, The Learning Company and ABC’s Good Morning America. She is an MBA graduate from Pennsylvania State University.

As Vice President of Marketing, Ms. Dillard is responsible for expanding PlayFirst's strategic vision and business goals through marketing, merchandising and customer experience. She will oversee the continued growth of PlayFirst's award-winning products - such as the Diner Dash®, Dream Chronicles® and Chocolatier® franchises - as well as corporate communications, overall brand positioning, product marketing, and creative services.
