PARIS, Sept 27 (Reuters) - France will register positive economic growth in the third quarter of 2009, boosted by public investment and exports, Economy Minister Christine Lagarde said on Sunday.
After a year of contraction, the French economy grew 0.3 percent in the second quarter and Lagarde told LCI television she expected further growth in the third quarter despite indications that consumption was slowing.
'We will see again positive growth in the third quarter,' Lagarde said, adding that exports and a government stimulus package would help prevent a return to contraction.
