PARIS, Sept 27 (Reuters) - French power group EDF on Sunday said its supervisory board had decided to propose six people to be appointed or re-appointed as board members, including Henri Proglio.
The short statement did not say whether Proglio would become the new executive chairman but the current executive chairman, Pierre Gadonneix, was not proposed for re-election.
The six are Philippe Crouzet, Mireille Faugere, Lord Michael Jay of Ewelme, Bruno Lafont, Pierre Mariani and Henri Proglio.
The statement said the board had decided that dividends or interim dividends could be paid in shares, including the interim dividend for 2009.
