HOUSTON, Oct 25 (Reuters) Valero Energy Corp on Sunday was restarting a 36,000 barrel per day (bpd) hydrocracking unit in the west plant of the company's 315,000 bpd Corpus Christi, Texas, refinery, according to a notice filed with state pollution regulators.
The restart is expected to last through Wednesday, according to the notice filed with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
The gasoil HCU was shut on Thursday to repair a leak found after the unit restarted on Oct. 18, after being shut by a small fire on Oct 7.
