HONG KONG/TAIPEI, Nov 6 (Reuters) - Shares of Lenovo , the world's No. 4 PC brand, rose by more than 3 percent to a one-week intraday high after reporting second-quarter earnings that blew past expectations.

By 0152 GMT, Lenovo shares were up 3.38 percent at HK$4.59 ($0.59), beating the 1.8 percent advance on the benchmark Hang Seng share index.

Lenovo's July-September net profit more than doubled to $53.08 million, the company said on Thursday, well ahead of market forecasts and prompting some analysts to declare the worst over for the PC firm.
