Nov 12 (Reuters) - D&B Corp, the financial information publisher known as Dun & Bradstreet, said its Chief Executive Steven Alesio would retire effective June 30, 2010.
Alesio will be succeeded by Chief Operating Officer Sara Mathew, who will assume CEO responsibilities effective Jan. 1, 2010, D&B said.
Alesio will continue to be chairman of the board until June 30, 2010, after which Mathew will take over that position, the company said.
D&B said it had no immediate plans to fill the chief operating officer position.
Shares of the Short Hills, New Jersey-based company closed at $80.54 Thursday on the New York Stock Exchange.
