NEW YORK, Dec 15 (Reuters) - Shares in Gilead Sciences Inc fell 3.1 percent to $45.50 in premarket trade on Tuesday after the company said late the previous day its experimental blood pressure drug Darusentan failed to meet its primary goals in a late-stage study. The company is now likely to drop research on it and refocus on other drugs.
