Broadpoint raises price target on Google
Broadpoint Amtech on Monday raised its price target on Google Inc to $650 from $610, seeing a higher click-through rate thanks to new advertising formats.
'These new ad formats should help Google in its battle against Amazon , eBay and other online merchants, as well as Microsoft Yahoo and be the starting point for where users begin their search for online information,' Broadpoint said.

Barron's sees 10 pct upside for Sysco
Barron's wrote that shares of food distributor Sysco Corp were undervalued by about 10 percent, as investors hadn't noticed that the company was benefiting from strength in the fast food business.
The finanical publication added that the company was more resistant to the economic downturn, and that it has been cutting costs.

Futures down as investors assess Dubai fallout
U.S. stock index futures were lower on Monday, as investors assessed exposure to a possible debt default by two of Dubai's flagship firms that could threaten a global economic recovery.

FAA turned down Boeing 777 warnings: WSJ
The U.S. aviation regulator decided to allow over 130 Boeing Co 777 airplanes to continue flying international trips through early 2011, despite warnings about suspect parts that have caused rare shutdowns in midair, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.
In July, the Federal Aviation Administration had asked Boeing to install redesigned cooling systems on some of its jets with Rolls Royce made engines by January 2011, to prevent the accumulation of ice inside the pipes of the fuel systems.

term upside for Monsanto
Barron's wrote that while Monsanto Co currently faces obstacles in the form of Chinese competition, the stock was set to rise in the long-term.
In its Nov. 30 edition, the financial publication wrote that that growth in Monsanto's seeds business would help its profits recover in 2011.

Baird upgrades U.S. Bancorp to 'outperform'
Robert W. Baird on Monday upgraded U.S. Bancorp to 'outperform' from 'neutral,' saying recent underperformance in the stock created a buying opportunity.
The firm added that the bank was enhancing its market share and earnings power, 'through low-risk small bank and non-bank deals, bolstering its normalized earnings power about 10 percent to 15 percent in the process.'
Baird also raised its price target on the stock to $29 from $25.
Shares of U.S. Bancorp closed Friday at $22.95.
