"In looking for ways to help the struggling citizens of Haiti, Tom and I wanted to develop one common platform where individuals could come to make donations of skills or money," Dahiwadkar said. "Being able to help them is something about which I feel very strongly, and I would encourage everyone to look very deeply and join us in our efforts."
"While listening to the Cat Stevens song, Peace Train, I realized that something needed to be done to help culminate efforts to get the music industry involved in helping the Haitians," Smith said. "In talking with my friend, Sanjeev, we decided to launch this Web site to help broaden awareness of the great need to come together as one and support those in need."
"Together we can all make a huge difference just the way that was done with Farm Aid and several other extremely worthy causes," both said.
