HONG KONG, Jan 27 (Reuters) - By 0229 GMT, the benchmark Hang
Seng Index was up 0.14 percent at 20,137.30.
The China Enterprises Index of top locally listed mainland Chinese stocks had risen 0.3 percent to 11,438.94.
Here are some of the stocks on the move:
* Chinese medicine maker Sino Biopharmaceutical Ltd rose as much as 19.2 percent to a six-week high and was the second-highest percentage gainer in Hong Kong after the firm said it would sell 255 million new shares to its controlling shareholder for HK$535.2 million ($68.83 million), raising capital to fund future acquisitions.
The controlling shareholder will subscribe to the new shares on completion of the sale of 4.2 percent of the company's shares to China Life Insurance (Group) Co, the holding company of China Life, and an aggregate 1.14 percent stake to units of CITIC Securities Ltd.
By 0230 GMT, Sino Biopharmaceutical was trading at HK$2.40, up 11.16 percent.
